Description

Inside Sales Temporary Business Representative's responsibility is to handle and close inbound calls on short-term roll off placement, portable restrooms, and Haul-It-Away services. The hours and level of responsibility may vary by location.

Days: Monday - Friday

Hours: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

Responsibilities of Position:



  • Handling and closing inbound calls on open top container placements and helping drive revenue growth.
  • Portable toilets sales, Haul-It-Away where applicable.
  • Administrative support.
  • Provide market intelligence (competition, pricing, segment recommendations).
  • Resolve service escalations within the market for short-term accounts.
  • Communicate rates, fees, and service strategies with an appreciation for market margin goals.
  • Assist with mailing campaigns, when applicable, for budgeted sales campaigns - direct mail that is agreed to be beneficial to your target market prospects/customers.
  • Distribute leads to other reps within the sales organization (New Business Reps, Account Representatives, Construction specialists, Recycling specialists, etc.).
  • Complete necessary paperwork (work orders) for temporary roll off placement utilizing our SMS order entry system.
  • Serve as a backup when needed for permanent business sales.
  • Perform tasks in a safe manner in compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations and company policies.
  • Other duties as assigned.



Skills & Abilities Needed for Position:



  • Exhibits excellent telephone etiquette skills (opening, probing, etc.).
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Comfortable handling objections.
  • Proven strong organizational capabilities.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Highly motivated self-starter.
  • Perform tasks in a safe manner in compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations and company policies.
  • Additional skills may be required to perform additional task(s) specific to work location, department, or line of business.



Additional Working Conditions/Aspects:



  • Ability to travel between offices, as required.
  • Legally eligible to work in the United States.
  • Valid driver's license (if applicable).
  • Must successfully complete pre-employment testing.
  • Must be able to read and speak the English language.

Qualifications
Education
High School (required)
General Education Diploma (preferred)
Bachelors of Relevant field (preferred)
Associates of Relevant field (preferred)
Experience
Previous computer and data entry experience. (preferred)
Waste and recycling industry experience preferred. (preferred)
2 years: Previous experience in Inside Sales, Sales Support, Administrative Assistance, or similar experience. (preferred)
