Job Summary The Warehouse Supervisor oversees daily warehouse logistics to operate at maximum efficiency, while identifying opportunities for process improvement. The successful candidate is expected to lead by example by working alongside employees and fostering a positive work environment. This position is primarily responsible for delegating various warehouse tasks such as order fulfillment, receiving and unloading, shipping, inventory, and control. This role is expected to adhere to all company policies and safety protocols. Supervisory Role: Primary duty is to manage the warehouse; regularly direct the work of his/her team; and have the authority on hiring, firing, advancements, promoting, or any other change of status (job changes). This role is expected to adhere to all company policies and safety protocols. Core Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise the day-to-day warehouse duties and responsibilities to meet and exceed operational targets (see below detailed duties to manage/supervise); ensure that all warehouse activities are performed safely and in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Order Fulfillment
- Manage order pulling by pulling customer orders from warehouse shelves, ensure accuracy based on the item number, serial numbers, size, quantity, etc.
- Pulling and loading for SupplySight.
- Manage Will Calls
- Perform checks and balances to confirm physical inventory counts match the inventory records. Perform regular counts.
Receiving and unloading
- Receive (physically) warehouse orders, inspect items received, match the delivery to a purchase order, log received items into warehouse management system and follow up on orders in case of delays.
- Promptly load and unload palletized freight; move products and supplies from receiving or storage area to shipping to other designated areas.
- Organize and maintain stock orders prior to shelving.
- Stock shelves in an efficient and organized way.
- Perform checks and balances to confirm physical inventory counts match the inventory records. Perform regular count (Cycle Counts - 2nd count.
- Handle Non-Conforming Products as per Company policies and procedures (Handle and Disposal) and in accordance with OSHA and internal protocols.
- Clean, stock and supply designated facility areas (Warehouse Cleaning & Organization).
Quality Control
- Promote operational excellence and identify opportunities for process improvements and cost reduction; perform quality assurance checks.
- Inspect products for defects and damages.
- Proactively involve Operations Manager to address issues, as well as inventory and supplies needs.
- Ensure proper Product Certifications and Safety Data Sheets are included on each order where applicable.
- Must be Hazmat Certified and oversee the packing and shipping of hazardous materials.
Operations Management
- Manage daily warehouse duties and responsibilities based on standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Perform warehouse audits of the operations, processes, and inventory management (e.g. warehouse shipping, accuracy, spend etc.) to help identify areas for improvement within the warehouse that can increase efficiency, reduce operational costs, and improve customer service.
- Communicate with the management team to provide regular updates and promptly communicate any issues; provide solutions to resolve discrepancies and fulfill customer orders.
- Regularly direct the work of his/her direct reports.
- Has the authority to hire or terminate employees, and/or provide employee's suggestions and recommendations as to the hiring, firing, advancement, promotion, or any other change of status of other employees must be given particular weight.
Coaching & Mentoring (Training)
- Conducts warehouse observations, demonstration lessons/best practices, provides feedback to employees.
- Train and mentor employees in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) and ensure employees receive the appropriate training to effectively perform job duties.
- Coach employees to enhance, support and facilitate their individual development and growth.
- Onboard and ensure new employees receive the appropriate training to effectively perform job duties; set performance goals, evaluate employee performance, and provide feedback (Coffee & Conversations, coaching/counseling).
Additional Assignments
- Perform various administrative tasks related to paperwork, credit card processing, shipping (Haz Certified) & Verifications, unconfirmed shipments, etc.
- Handle the processing of credit card transactions at the time of shipment.
- Assist operations in WTDO/WT in shipped & picked Stage.
- Perform data entry - Receiving (Into ERP system)
- Organize monthly hazmat meetings.
- Manage warehouse Equipment Maintenance.
- Conduct inventory counts on a daily basis.
- Receive product into the ERP system to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Track and ensure timely processing of both outgoing and incoming warehouse to warehouse transfers.
- Other job duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
- At least 5+ years previous warehouse experience
- Ability to run warehouse autonomously, if needed.
- Supervisor experience required.

- Lean or Lean Six Sigma yellow / green belt certification.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to operate standard warehouse equipment (i.e. forklift, hand truck, pallet jack, etc.)
- Ability to lift/pull/push up to 100 lbs.
- BODY MOVEMENTS: The employee must have a full range of body movements including the use of his/her hands to finger, handle, and feel objects such as computer equipment. The ability to bend the body, to reach for objects, and to crouch when needed are also required.
- VISION: Specific vision abilities required include close vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Working Conditions
- Working in a warehouse mainly requires manual labor. Warehouse associates frequently work on their feet and may do a substantial amount of lifting over a long shift. Being in sound physical shape is usually desired
