General Information: Electrical Engineering researches, develops, designs, and tests electrical components, equipment, systems, and networks. Designs electrical equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems for commercial, industrial, and domestic purposes. A Senior Professional (P3) applies advanced knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education and work experience. Responsibilities may include: Managing projects / processes, working independently with limited supervision. Coaching and reviewing the work of lower level professionals. Problems faced are difficult and sometimes complex. Your Responsibilities: Ensure Ontime delivery of work and Project assigned with high quality output. Collaboration with cross functional team and our transformer factories across US and Canada for assigned project. Visit Factory based on project requirement. Able to work independently with minimum supervision. Collects details of project and make multiple Design trials for standardization. Your Background: BE/B.Tech. in Electrical engineering. 8-10 Years of Experience in Transformer Industry, preferably in Distribution transformer up to 69kv Class. Thorough Knowledge of Electrical design and Manufacturing process of 3 phase and Single-phase Oil Filled Distribution transformer. Should be Familiar with IEEE/DOE Standard. Should have knowledge of Pad Mounted Transformer, Wound Core transformer, Design optimization techniques, Cost analysis. Should have Excellent Communication and Organizational Skills. Programming Skills (SQL/Power BI) is plus. AutoCAD and Cero are plus. Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States Apply now
