We areactivelyseekinga SOO/Desk Officer tojoin our teamin support of a USG critical mission in the Northern Virginia area.TheOfficerwill beresponsible for program management from traditional operational activities to specialized initiatives.Officersalso help tofind solutions to complex problems, identifying new technical tools and capabilities to advancethe Customer's goals.This position supports the Space Department, but the ideal candidate in this case doesn't have to have a space-related background.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide day-to-day mission support and in-depth, substantive subject-matterexpertise
  • Apply advanced knowledge and expertise of operations, tradecraft, and priorities when providing strategic guidance and casemanagement
  • Find solutions to complex operational problems, identify new tools and capabilities, and tap the resources of the U.S. Government to ensure requirements aremet
  • Provide objective reviews and serve as a link amongstakeholders

REQUIRED EDUCATION &DESIREDEXPERIENCE

  • Must possess an active TS/SCI clearance withpolygraph
  • Bachelor's degree (or 5 years of related experience in lieu of a degree)
  • 5+ Years of Customer or relevant IC experience
  • Must have previous customer experience and understand how to research, write, and analyze using the Customer's proprietary tools and databases
  • Quick learner on the space-related specifics, as needed.
  • Experiencedin HUMINT sources andcollections
  • Ability to work individually and in a teamenvironment
  • Strong inter- and intrapersonal skills,andable to communicate details clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to analyze, prioritize effectively, problem solve, and work several tasksconcurrently
  • Current knowledge ofCustomer-specific record management system with experience draftingCustomer memorandums and otherdocuments
  • Ability to succeed in often ambiguous, fast-paced, environments with limited supervision and competingpriorities
  • Self-starter with strong critical thinking/analytical skills, including ability to process large amounts of information, extracting relevant information and conveying findings tostakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to engage with partners to understand and anticipate changing needs and requirements, anticipate follow-on questions, and provide comprehensiveassessments
