The College and Graduate School of Arts & Sciences (A&S) seeks applicants for a Senior Finance Generalist or Finance Generalist. These positions will be members of the Dean's Office budget and finance team and report to the Sr. Director of Financial Planning and Analysis. This position will work closely with members of the budget and finance team, so the person in this position must be comfortable in a role that supports two areas. Senior Finance Generalists perform a hybrid of complex finance work, encompassing a range of specialties, such as accounting, budget, payroll, purchasing, and financial analysis. Senior Finance Generalists assume more responsibilities that require deep analysis. They are distinguished by years of experience, depth of institutional knowledge, and sophistication of expertise. Work is conducted independently, and Senior Finance Generalists are responsible for training and mentoring emerging finance professionals.
