Summary:

An Oncology Nurse works with patients who have, or who are at risk of getting, cancer. Oncology Nurses provide necessary assessments, administer treatments and communicate with all patient care providers to help develop a plan tailored to each patient's needs. Responsible for utilizing the nursing process to provide direct patient care to an assigned group of patients during a shift. Responsible for prioritizing the delivery of direct nursing care using time and resources efficiently integrating a standards-based framework model.



Qualifications

Credentials: Registered Nurse - State of New Mexico or Compact State Nursing License. BLS certification within 90 days of hire.

Education: Associate Degree in Nursing

Experience: 1 year Bedside experience preferred
