Position Summary:

This position supports the Regional Director of Provider Services with contract deliverables and program design which serve to advance and enhance the work within Catholic Charities Early Learning Mental Health Department. The Early Learning Mental Health Lead is responsible for the coordination and implementation of current Early Learning Mental Health Consultation Initiatives, such as Holding Hope, ECLIPSE; B3QI; as well as development of future programs as new funding opportunities become available within Catholic Charities Early Learning Department for the benefit of children, families, and early learning educators within Central Washington.

Responsibilities



  • Demonstrate passion and vision for the work within the Early Learning Field
  • Maintain the mission of Catholic Charities at the forefront of all program development and implementation
  • Assist in establishing standards and procedures for service delivery.
  • Participate in bi-monthly meetings with the Regional Director of Provider Services to monitor the progress of contract deliverables within assigned Early Learning Mental Health Initiatives
  • Collaborate to ensure Early Learning Mental Health Initiatives within the Provider Services Division are aligned to support wrap around collaboration support services to early learning educators
  • Hold Primary responsibility for leadership, supervision, and guidance for all Early Learning Mental Health service delivery within the Provider Services Division.
  • Provide onboarding and ongoing professional development of Early Learning Mental Health Consultation Staff
  • Provide first point of contact and triage for all incoming referrals, assign caseloads, for Early Learning Mental Health Consultant staff.
  • Develop, foster, and continue partnerships with CCA of Washington and the Department of Children, Youth and Families at the Regional and State level.
  • Participate in regularly scheduled meetings with CCA of WA IECMHC Leadership to ensure aligned approach to IECMHC service delivery across the state.
  • Participate in reflective supervision meetings (group or individual) with the Associate Director of Outpatient Services or designee monthly.
  • Represent Catholic Charities Early Learning Mental Health services in community, regional, and statewide meetings as assigned.
  • Supervise staff, complete annual performance evaluations, and facilitate scheduled staff meetings.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly reports as required by contracts
  • In collaboration with the Data and Communications Lead, Maintain, track and report required data in the region to ensure meeting performance metrics as outlined within contract deliverables
  • Assist with case record reviews, shadow visits, monitoring of database entry, etc for quality and appropriateness of service delivery
  • May provide direct services to early learning providers, children, or families (in person or virtual) and/or maintain a small Tier 1 caseload at the discretion of the Regional Director of Provider Services.
  • Perform other duties as assigned


Qualifications

Job Requirements:

Physical Requirements:

This position normally requires the physical demands of standing, walking, bending, lifting or performing other work requiring low physical exertion, as well as keyboard fingering, talking, hearing and adequate vision on a regular basis to perform the job requirements. These physical demands are required up to 90% of the time.

Non-Physical Requirements:

Education



  • Master's degree in counseling, social work, or related behavioral science


Experience



  • 1-2 years experience in clinical supervision
  • Experience and content knowledge in Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health
  • Training in evidence based practices desired


Special Skills



  • Bilingual/Bi-literate in English/Spanish preferred
  • Ability to build positive working relationships with stakeholder and external partner organizations.
  • Experience in data collection and evaluation processes preferred
  • Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment and assume responsibility for completion of tasks
  • Demonstrated effective verbal communication and writing skills
  • Ability to travel both in- and out-of-state, and attend evening or weekend meetings up to 25% of time
  • Possess a collaborative style with respect for diversity
  • Flexibility in work hours and ability to work under pressure and unanticipated constraints
  • Intermediate level skills in Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook
  • Experience with database entry and/or management


Licensure, Registration, Certification



  • LMHC, LICSW,LMFT or Agency Affiliated License
  • Obtained, eligible, or meets eligibility requirements for Approved Clinical Supervisor (ACS) credential.
  • Valid Washington State Driver's License and agency required minimum liability insurance
  • Must be deemed insurable as determined by Catholic Charities' liability insurance provider
