Trauma Program Social Worker - Baptist Trauma Center - Days

Under general direction of the Trauma Program Leadership, counsels and assists trauma patients and their families with personal and environmental difficulties which interfere with injury recovery or hinder the patient from receiving maximum benefits from their medical care.

Education: Master's Degree in Social Work Required.

Licensure/Certifications/Registrations Required: Masters of Social Work (MSW) or Licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) required.

Experience: Minimum of one year's experience in a healthcare setting.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Knowledge of principles and practices of social work concepts. Computer and database skills including Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Word. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Strong organizational skills with self-direction. Knowledge of relevant medical practices and processes.
