As part of our OEM team, you'll help build the world-class, state-of-the-art smart vehicles the world expects from us. Position Description: Be able to analyze the validity of automotive supplier part pricing and tooling uplift requests in a service environment for change in mfg process, volume impact, and inflation. Calculate a should cost. Be able to explain cost changes to internal and external stake holders that have competing agendas Operate in a grey space environment with minimal direction and multiple projects The position deals with internal combustion engines and across all commodities. In the next 5 years a transition to BEV's will require an understanding of Motors, electronics, batteries Software Skills: Understand various mfg process and how the switch from high volume to low volume impacts cost Calculate, analyze, and adjust estimates Efficiency, floorspace, and inflation impact labor and burden rates Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw conclusions Strong communication skills (both verbal and written, speaking and listening) Excel Powerpoint CAD/Read blueprints Estimating Software (FACTON) Company purchasing systems (SAP) Stamping Machining Injection molding Casting Wire Harness Asm Experience Required: 5 years of experience in estimating with mfg experience Education Required: Bachelor of Science (Engineering, Technology) Additional Information: Some travel After you have applied, download our Staffmark Group WorkNOW App to receive real-time job offers and apply for additional opportunities.
