Acara Solutions is seeking highly qualified candidates to work onsite with our customer in Tualatin, OR.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities - Other duties may be assigned:
  • The Plastic Fabricator is responsible for precise Plastic Fabrication of custom parts and/or components using customer and/or engineering supplied drawings and other work instruction for specific parts.
  • Must be able to meet or exceed the requirement of the project through manual fabrication.
  • Collaborate with machinists throughout the manufacturing process for each phase of the project.
  • Must be willing to use hot air welding gun and Plastic Fabrication tools and procedures to connect plastic components.
  • Must be able to position clamps and/or fixtures onto components for fabrication.
  • Ability to understand and execute the proper order of operations.
  • Must pay close attention to details on drawings.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables.
  • Ability to interpret various instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Must have expertise in measuring components with height gauges and calipers.
Here's what you will receive:
Pay: $23 - $27/hr DOE + shift differential
Duration: Temporary, 12 months+
Schedule: 2nd shift 4pm-2:30am, Monday - Thursday
Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • Minimum 1 year experience in welding or fabrication.
  • Eye for detail and manual dexterity
  • Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Must have basic math skills
  • Must be able to use calipers and protractor tools
  • Must be willing to use a hot air welding gun
