About This Role: The Executive Director of ASC Financial Operations and Strategic Initiatives is responsible for providing high-level financial leadership, developing, and implementing financial processes and strategies, and ensuring the effectiveness and efficiency of resources. The key responsibilities of this position include: * Developing and executing strategic plans for the shared services financial team, ensuring operational excellence, high customer satisfaction, and cost-effectiveness. * Establishing and monitoring key performance indicators to ensure service efficiency, reliability and compliance with university policies, regulations, and best practices. * Lead teams in managing the budgets for the shared service units, ensuring accurate financial reporting and budget execution. Collaborate with University Vice Presidents on budget planning. * Mentor and develop a team of financial professionals, fostering continuous learning and improvement. * Oversee training programs, communicate business process changes, and engage unit staff to ensure service alignment and effectiveness. * Build strong relationships with administrative units, acting as a liaison to ensure seamless collaboration and meet stakeholder needs.
