As a Process Engineer- NDT you will collaborate with internal Quality Management and Business units, as well as develop and continuously improve our NDT systems. You will combine technical experience and demonstrated success working with organizations inside and outside the company as well as leading a team of talented technical individuals.

Key Responsibilities:

- Have the skills and knowledge to interpret codes, standards, and other contractual documents that control the NDT method(s).

- Be capable of assuming technical responsibility for the NDT facility and staff.

- Select the method and technique for a specific inspection when needed with a thorough understanding of alternate NDT Methods, and related repair processes.

- Be capable of Preparing and verifying the adequacy of procedures and work instructions.

- Write, approve, and teach NDT procedures and work instructions for technical adequacy.

- Have a general knowledge of other NDT methods and product manufacturing/repair processes and inspection technologies used.

- Provide for the training, examination and certification of personnel.

- Conduct NDT for the acceptance of components as needed.

- Perform Internal and External Audits as needed.

- Be accountable for the development of personnel and training programs.

- Be responsible for the continuous training and oversight of Level 2 inspectors.

- Be responsible for continuous oversight of processes, equipment and inspection area condition.

- Ensure that all tooling is correct for the inspections required.

- Be accountable for all actions and maintain ethical behavior in all respects.

Basic Requirements

- ASNT Level 3 Certification in a minimum of one of the following: PT, MT. Must have the ability to obtain ASNT Certification in both Methods within 6 months of start.

- Must be able to Certify as Level 3 per NAS 410 in both PT and MT within 6 months of start.

- 5 - 10 years working as a Level 3 in an Aerospace setting or equivalent experience.

- Certification or knowledge of other NDT Methods a Plus.

- Basic computer and technical writing skills.

- Experience in Etch a Plus.

- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds (unassisted) for approximately 25% of the average work day.

- Regularly required to sit and stand for prolonged periods.

- Working knowledge of production management computer system and other related internal control systems.

- Take on new duties as assigned.
