Work Location: Inglewood, CA
Work Schedule : Tue ~Fri (1 PM -10 PM) & Sat (9 AM - 6 PM)
Overview:
A global freight forwarding and logistics company is looking for a detail-oriented and organized individual to join their Air Export team. The company offers a fast-paced and dynamic work environment where you can learn and grow your career in the exciting world of international trade.
As an Air Export Operations Specialist on the night shift, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient movement of clients' air cargo shipments.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include but not Limited to:
* (Data Entry): Accurately entering shipment information into the company's logistics management system.
* (Documentation): Preparing and processing export documents, such as invoices, packing lists, and air waybills, ensuring adherence to customs regulations.
* (E-Mails and General Communication): Communicating clearly and professionally with clients, airlines, and other stakeholders via email and phone.
* (Filing and Billing): Maintaining accurate and organized shipment files, and assisting with the preparation of invoices.
Qualifications:
* Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel and Word) and willingness to learn new systems.
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling documentation and data entry. WPM Over 40
* Previous experience within the freight forwarding or logistics industry is a plus.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, colleagues, and customs authorities.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
The base pay range above represents the low and high end of the base compensation range we reasonably expect to pay for this position.
