Department of Medicine - Division of Nephrology

Job Description

The Division of Nephrology is growing and seeking a Transplant Nephrologist to actively engage in the needs the in-patient management of new transplant patients, the assessment and selection process, and donor kidney pairing, as well as provide general clinical coverage and the opportunities to teach fellows, residents, and medical students. For interested and qualified candidates, there is an opportunity to serve as a Director of transplant nephrology.

Job Details:

  • Faculty in this role will have a mix of patient care and medical education responsibilities working with learners at all levels
  • Share responsibilities for patient selection for kidney transplants, kidney transplant clinics, in-patient management of kidney transplant patients, satellite clinic development, and outreach efforts.
  • Enjoy opportunities to participate in clinical and/or translational research
  • Collaborate with physicians and researchers in a multi-disciplinary environment
Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • ABIM BE/BC Internal Medicine
  • ABIM BE/BC Nephrology
  • Completed an AST-certified Transplant Nephrology Fellowship
  • Possess or be eligible to obtain a Missouri License
  • Strong clinical, organizational, and communication skills.
