SPA's AUKUS Group provides timely, objective, analytic assessments that integrate technical, operational, programmatic, policy and business analysis to NAVSEA's AUKUS Integration and Acquisition Program Office and associated partner organizations. Analysts and Engineers supporting AUKUS will continue SPA's decades of support to the undersea force and assist in developing a trilateral submarine force for the future. This is a high-profile, major international program of significant importance to the future of the US Navy and its partners in an era of renewed strategic competition. SPA has an immediate need for a candidate to serve as a Senior Analyst supporting Australian Sovereign SSN Capability in the US based AUKUS Program Office. Specific role will be to support both the Phase 2 Mission System and Non-Industrial Workforce Program (QA/QC/Engineers, etc). Responsibilities In this role, the Senior Analyst will support the development of Australian Sovereign maintenance and non-industrial workforce capability as part of the AUKUS I&A program office suppor to the Australian Submarine Agency. The Senior Analyst will lead Mission System and Non-Industrial Workforce support to the NAVSEA AUKUS program, focusing on program support to Australian as part of the NAVSEA program. Responsibilities will include support to the Mission System Working Group and other Phase 2 Working Groups; supporting Phase 2 risk mitigation; developing and managing the Non-Industrial Workforce Development Plan; supporting integrated schedule and risk analysis; and interacting with international and government partners. This position is located at SPA Headquarters in Alexandria, VA. This position will require traveling to the Washington Navy Yard as necessary to collaborate with Phase 2 personnel. There will be some opportunity to travel to partner and industry stakeholder locations. There is an opportunity for light telework. Qualifications Required Qualifications:
