Functions as the first line interface with customers and is successful in the accomplishment of their imaging needs. Participates in PI/ QC activities. Supervises Radiology staff in the absence. Promotes teamwork and good customer service. Assists in annual evaluations and staff discipline. Does scheduling for assigned sub departments and maintains supplies and equipment for assigned sub department. Responsible for processing and transmission of Images to PACS. The technologist is responsible for obtaining all equipment needed for a procedure, positioning and imaging patients, resolving equipment issues, and demonstrating knowledge of human anatomy, radiation safety, interventional supplies and equipment operation. Special Procedures technologists must be certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and complete an additional advanced-level vascular-interventional technology examination. Qualifications EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING 1. State Radiology Licensure is required. 2. ARRT is required. 3. Must be familiar with State and Federal regulations. 4. Current BCLS (AHA). 5.
