Hiring a tenured Kubernetes Senior Technical Engineer for Buffalo NY banking client. The role is 100% Remote, 12+ Month Contract to Direct Hire, Pay $88/HR (DOE). Will manage Kubernetes technical operating systems, cluster configurations, infrastructure automation, and lead full life-cycle IT projects.

Job Title: Kubernetes Senior Technical Engineer
Pay Rate: Up to $88/HR (DOE)
Work Location: 100% Remote, must reside in the EST or CST time zone for business needs
Position Type: Contract - Direct Hire / 40-Hour work wk / Mon - Fri
Duties "At-a-Glance:
  • Technical engineering and managing a technical team to maintain Kubernetes container platforms
  • Kubernetes platform and best practices for a large number of cluster deployments
  • Working with the latest and greatest technologies and making sound recommendations
  • Will lead Kubernetes containers, networking, storage, and computing project
  • Cloud infrastructure design and implementation, and excellent communication with project members
Job Requirements
Required Work Skills / Qualifications:
  • BS Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering and 5 years of Kubernetes technical engineering and Linux project work, or in lieu of the BS degree, combination of 8 years higher education and Kubernetes technical engineering and Linux project work
  • Able to translate complex Kubernetes project requirements into structured, high-quality implementations and technical approaches.
