What You'll Do
As a Payroll Tech II, you'll work within Colony Brand's Payroll department and perform different duties related to payroll. You will be responsible for processing electronic and manual time records, maintaining processing control records, and validating employee and pay information.
You'll also be responsible for:
* Balancing the labor report data
* Maintaining PTO records for employees
* Assisting with the distribution of W-2's
* Research invalid data from preliminary payroll reports and resolves discrepancies

Qualifications

We need a cross-functional player with professional level communication skills, who thrives on decision making and working in a team environment. Ideally, you will possess above average organization skills and be able to perform work neatly and accurately.
In addition, we are looking for:
* Someone who possesses an Associates Degree in Accounting and/or similar work or work considered preparatory to the position.
* The ability to operate a ten key calculator proficiently.
* A good working knowledge of operating a PC utilizing Word, Excel, and MS Outlook.
* Experience using payroll processing software
* Someone who possess the understanding and importance of confidentiality.
