Product Operations Leader

You will be a leader within the product organization reporting directly to our Chief Product Officer. This role serves on our Product Leadership team and has substantial responsibilities that are directly visible to our Executive Leadership. The Product Leader's efforts are core to efficiently operate and scale our identified product team; responsibilities include leading strategic operational planning, performance analysis, team analytics, executive meetings, coordination across product and tech teams, and strategic communications.

Working closely with Product leadership and cross-functionally with other teammates, you will:

#1 Facilitate the product investment process, ensuring alignment across teams, deliverables and review forums:



  • You facilitate key meetings with stakeholders and own core processes - you're more than a facilitator, you're a "do'er;" you own the gray areas of new processes ensuring everyone has what they need, understands the expected deliverables etc.
  • You work closely with product leads and finance partners to ensure we have the appropriate measures of business value tied to product performance metrics that underpin the budget process.
  • You ensure that the Executive Leadership Team has the appropriate cadence and level of updates, insight, and input into this process. You are responsible for supporting the ELT's ability to deliver core messages from this process to the board.


#2 Ensure ongoing measurement & evaluation activities core to evaluating product investments.



  • You work with our metrics leads and PMs to compile our weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports, providing a quantifiable perspective on product health.
  • You map our product data related to usage, feature requests, support tickets, sentiment. You understand across our organization how we collect and use that data. You have proposals about how we can ensure we use that data to remain hyper-attentive to our customers.
  • You work with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure that the product team is well equipped to answer critical questions on product performance and impact.
  • You map where we are underinvested in business metrics and you lead initiatives and business investment in upleveling our product metrics.


#3 Process standardization and clarity



  • You own ensuring cross-functional product teams work effectively and efficiently by standardizing tooling, processes (e.g. roadmapping), reporting and more. You own the research, development and implementation of recommendations, and managing change that comes with these recommendations.
  • You work with other Product, Engineering, and Business leaders to implement product, process, tool improvements.


    • You ensure our product operations are aligned with our core goals, values, and processes. You make sure that tools/processes don't dictate how we work, but rather tools align with how we want/should be functioning.



#4 Strategic Communication



  • You distill and cascade core tenets of our Product strategy for leadership and other internal and external stakeholders.
  • You represent and drive strategic, functional, and business updates for Product.
  • Generally you ensure consolidated and cohesive communication from the product team to stakeholders

Our compensation philosophy is to be externally competitive, internally fair, and not win or lose on compensation. Salary ranges for this position are developed with the support of benchmarks and industry best practices.

The range posted is for a given job title, which can include multiple levels. Individual rates for the same job title may differ based on their level, responsibilities, skills, and experience for a specific job. The estimated salary range for this role is $220,000-$270,000.
