Job Title: Technician I (ATP)

Executes test programs on schedule through collaboration with engineers and third-party test labs. Visually inspects components and assemblies for conformance to product standards. Reviews and understands electrical and mechanical test procedures.

Operates and maintains test equipment.

Primary Function:

The test technician is responsible for performing electrical and mechanical testing on

engineering prototypes and production samples to qualify aerospace interconnect products.

Essential Functions:

  • Visually inspects components and assemblies for conformance to product standards.
  • Reviews and understands electrical and mechanical test procedures.
  • Operates and maintains test equipment.
  • Collects and analyzes test data.
  • Executes test programs on schedule through collaboration with engineers and third-party test labs.
  • Incorporates changes to improve accuracy, efficiency, and safety of test procedures.


Basic Qualifications:

  • Ability to read, follow and understand verbal instruction, product/ process
  • specifications, drawings, and work orders in English
  • Knowledge of industry test standards (i.e., EIA, MIL-STD)
  • Experience with general electrical test equipment such as power supplies, multimeters, etc.
  • Experience with soldering and wiring.
  • Experience in an Aerospace testing and quality environment.
  • Ability to use calculators
  • Ability to lift 30 lbs. and handle components and assemblies using bending, reaching, and twisting body movements; in addition to use of hand tools
  • Ability to recognize and inform supervision of assembly problems and equipment breakdown
  • Good manual dexterity to assemble small and intricate parts

Required Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years' experience in a test lab environment.
  • Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future.
  • No relocation benefit is offered for this position. Only candidates residing within the immediate geographical area (within 50 miles) of Camarillo will be considered for this position.
  • This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e., 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on an ongoing basis without company sponsorship
