Job Title: Client Service Representative

Location: Chicago, IL 60604 (Hybrid) Required days onsite: Monday - Thursday (contractor selects 3 days)

Duration: 4 months Assignment

Shift/Hours: 40hours/week, M to F 8am - 5pm CST

Project Overview:

  • Assist Custody Client Servicing partners manage existing settlement and fail correspondence with clients.
  • Specific process clean-up and management such as PIMCO claim process.
  • Research and address client and internal issues and queries.


  • Provide bandwidth for team leaders and managers to support cross-training activities.


Major Duties:

  • Acts as the primary contact for investment management firms on domestic and/or international trade communication and settlement issues relating to client accounts held at the Bank.
  • Responsible for daily cash management of multiple currencies for international portfolios.
  • Determines appropriate cash management action to take. Initiate foreign exchange and call account activity for client accounts.
  • Coordinates daily with investment managers regarding client account activities. Informs managers of any exceptions and proposed steps for resolutions.
  • Identifies service efficiency enhancements, process improvements and service delivery using creative and proactive measures.
  • Researches and resolves processing inquiries and prepares correcting entries including reversals and rejects.
  • Expected to use some initiative but refer more complex problems to supervisors/experts.
  • Works effectively as a team member but also independently.
  • Knowledgeable of the core aspects of the job.
  • Working towards becoming proficient in all areas of the job.


Required Skills:

  • Good oral and written communication skills are required.
  • Basic securities industry knowledge is preferred.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills are required.
  • Organizational skills are required to manage conflicting priorities and multitask functions in a fast-paced team environment.
