Summary:

This role is intended to meet Belcamp Laboratory's high-volume RFQ demand, opportunity volume, and revenue goals. It involves executing a high level of customer service to differentiate Belcamp from competitors. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sales, excellent communication skills, and a drive to meet and exceed sales targets.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Maximize revenue from both new and existing clients through proactive selling techniques.
  • Accurately qualify and drive leads through the sales pipeline, ensuring effective follow-up from RFQ receipt to PO issuance.
  • Engage in discussions with potential clients to align our solutions with their needs.
  • Build and maintain strong, trusted customer relationships to encourage repeat business.
  • Identify opportunities within customer accounts through outbound calls, communications, and other engagement activities.
  • Conduct post-sale follow-up activities to ensure customer satisfaction and explore additional opportunities.
  • Work closely with Operations, Subject Matter Experts, and Application Engineers to capture business and facilitate service execution.
  • Ensure all PO paperwork is accurate before submission and inform management of all activities through timely and accurate reporting.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of our products and services to answer client questions effectively.
  • Participate in meetings, contribute to sales improvement initiatives, and perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of sales experience
  • Proven track record of successful sales
  • Demonstrated ability to penetrate and expand existing customer relationships and develop outbound sales prospects
  • Ability to consistently provide excellent customer service to accounts
  • Ability to plan and organize personal sales strategy by maximizing the "return-on-time" investment for the ballistic services
  • This is an onsite role

Performance Metrics

  • Achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Number of new customer acquisitions and retention of existing customers.
  • Effectiveness in lead conversion rates and sales cycle times.
  • Accuracy and timeliness of sales reporting and forecasting.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in related field
  • Minimum of 5+ years of sales experience, preferably in technical or industrial markets
  • Proven track record of successful sales, preferably in ballistic testing, defense, or a related technical field

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Good understanding of sales process
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
  • Technical knowledge of ballistic testing or related industries is highly preferred
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a strong team-oriented mindset
  • Must have proficient computer skills (MS Office Suite) and have experience with a CRM
