You Are:

The ideal candidate for the Sr. Director of Ecosystem Management role will lead the definition and execution of strategic partners with leading Foundry, IP and third-party EDA providers to maximize the solution value for customers. You have a proven track record of identifying and cultivating key partnerships that drive innovation and competitive differentiation in the industry. Your expertise in the Silicon to Systems ecosystem, combined with your ability to negotiate and influence at high levels, enables you to forge strong relationships that continuously move important product and business initiatives forward. You are highly motivated, with a passion for innovation and the ability to work collaboratively across engineering, product management and sales teams to ensure alignment on initiatives. With over 15 years of relevant experience, you bring a wealth of knowledge and a strategic mindset to drive Synopsys' ecosystem strategy forward.

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Lead the development and refinement of an overarching ecosystem strategy that aligns with Synopsys' broader business objectives.
  • Identify high-potential initiatives and strategically important ecosystem partners to drive impactful collaboration and innovation.
  • Proactively identify new partnership opportunities and lead the end-to-end partnership process, including identifying potential partners opportunities, , performing due diligence, recommending terms for negotiation, and formalizing and cultivating partnerships.
  • Drive collaborative initiatives with partners that lead to innovative solutions, incorporating unique product integrations and ecosystem synergies.
  • Work closely with engineering, product management, and sales teams to align ecosystem partnership activities with Synopsys' product development and go-to-market strategies.
  • Be the ecosystem subject matter expert on important initiatives for various audiences, including internal stakeholders, executive leadership, customers, and industry conferences.
  • Partner with the global marketing & communications team to shape and promote joint marketing programs with ecosystem partners.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and reporting mechanisms to measure the effectiveness and ROI of ecosystem partnerships.
  • Cultivate trust-based relationships across all levels within partner organizations to strengthen collaboration and facilitate swift problem resolution.
  • Serve as a skilled negotiator and influencer to align partner activities and outcomes with Synopsys' strategic goals.

  • Build and maintain trust-based relationships with partners to facilitate collaboration and proactive management of partnership dynamics.
  • Navigate complex partnership discussions and agreements, balancing Synopsys' needs with mutually beneficial outcomes for partners.
What You'll Need:
  • 15+ years of relevant EDA/semiconductor product management and marketing experience; BS/MS, MBA in Electrical Engineering preferred.
  • Deep expertise in understanding of Silicon to Systems ecosystem, and expertise with IP, Foundry, and EDA industry offerings.
  • Highly motivated with a passion for innovation and developing effective partnership models.
  • Exceptional ability to drive and achieve results through self and others under time pressure.
  • Excellent presentation, communications, and interpersonal skills.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office applications, specifically creating eye-catching PowerPoint presentations.

Together, you will identify and cultivate new partnership opportunities, drive collaborative initiatives, and promote joint marketing programs to deliver high-value solutions to the semiconductor market.

The actual compensation offered will be based on a number of job-related factors, including location, skills, experience, and education.
