Quality Healthcare Supervisor

General Summary

The primary responsibility will be to meet company standards and objectives established for the storage and distribution of products to maintain product safety, quality, integrity, and legality in accordance with customer requirements, federal, state, county regulations and the Brand Recognition Compliance Global Standards (BRCGS).

Essential Functions

  • Manage all food safety and quality functions Quality Policy and business processes for the warehouse.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain an effective quality system to improve conformance and food safety.
  • Manage document control system, update, review and release documents and drive standardization efforts across the company. Ensures teammate access to the released documents.
  • Manage the Sanitation/Housekeeping teammates.
  • Responsible for performing an annual performance review of all processes.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain an effective Internal Audit Program to ensure conformance to the Quality System.
  • Lead investigation of non-conformances and customer complaints to determine root causes, provide responses, and determine corrective and/or preventative actions through the complaint and CAPA systems.
  • Audit, implement, perform risk analysis, and manage systems to ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements (FSMA, GMP, HACCP, allergens, glass/brittle/ceramics Food Defense and other topics).
  • Provide support/guidance for the operations areas to include training on all product safety, quality regulatory requirements.
  • Lead all internal FedEx and external (Customer, Regulatory Agencies, and BRCGS) audits.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable FedEx, customer requirements, regulatory agencies, BRCGS standards and audit readiness.
  • Responsible for the documentation of Food Safety and Quality Assurance procedures, guidelines, and work instructions.
  • Responsible for all tracking of KPI's associated with Quality and Sanitation.
  • Facilitate and document Management Review Meetings.
  • Oversee, validate, and verify pest management system, help coordinate corrective and preventive actions.
  • Aware of GMPs requirements and responsible for assuring that direct reports are aware and will execute as trained.
  • As a member of various food safety teams, will execute duties as required.
  • Assume additional responsibilities as assigned.

Education

* Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) and 2+ years in a related field or equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

* Experienced and/or certified Internal Auditor in GFSI Quality Systems such as SQF, BRCGS, FSSC22000 or ISO9000 preferred.

* Six Sigma Certification and/or experience leading/working on continuous improvement projects preferred.

Job Specifications

  • Demonstrated ability to read, speak, and understand English.
  • Ability to perform physical activities that require considerable use of arms and legs and moving entire body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling materials.
  • Good physical condition, able to lift 50 lbs. safely.
  • Good eye/hand coordination and good motor skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow directions.
  • Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) preferred.
  • Experience with working in a 3PL Food/Medical Device storage and distribution environment preferred.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Power Point, Excel, and Word) preferred.

Pay Range: 50000.00 (Min) - 73701.00 (Mid) - 97402.00 (Max) Yearly
