ImpactLife provides lifesaving blood products to more than 120 hospitals and emergency medical service providers in a four-state region. In 2024, we celebrate 50 Years of Saving Lives. Over the years, we've grown and merged across the Midwest from small, independent, community nonprofits to evolve into ImpactLife. We are still an independent, community nonprofit, only we are not so small. Today, our team is 800+ strong across four states. We are headquartered in Davenport, Iowa and have distribution hubs and donor centers in Iowa, Illinois, Missouri, and Wisconsin. Every year we team up with thousands of blood donors and hundreds of community partners to help save lives through blood drives.

We are currently hiring for individuals to join our Donor Recruitment team. Be part of a great organization that directly impacts the lives of those in our communities!

The Donor Recruiter is responsible for the selection, education, communication, and recruitment of blood donors for special programs and/or converting donors to special procedures. This position requires excellent customer service and inside sales skills as you will be interacting by phone with potential blood donors. Candidates must be friendly and reliable, be comfortable using computers, and possess strong written and verbal skills.

This is a part-time (working between 20 to 29 hrs. a week) position working Mon-Thu 2:30 pm to 8:30 pm Sun 11 am to 4:30 pm

Donor Recruiter - Responsibilities

* Telephoning prospective donors from established call lists/files, scheduling donation appointments and maintaining accurate donor records.

* Responsible for advanced recruitment activities to include conducting research to identify new donors for special procedures.

* Interact in a positive, friendly, and customer-focused manner with donors.

Qualifications

* High School diploma or equivalent preferred

* Physical requirements include the ability to sit for long periods of time

* Must be able utilize multiple computer programs and software applications to research donor information and eligibility.
