Sr. Surgical Technician Operating Room Full Time 81913BR Job Summary The shift for this position is 10:45am-9:15pm, Monday-Thursday The Senior Surgical Technologist functions in a specialty service, utilizes, and troubleshoots service implementation and equipment, and is a resource to the Surgical Technicians. The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy. Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement. The salary range for this position is $48.32 - $60.17 (Hourly Rate). Our primary focus is tertiary/quaternary surgical care using team based staffing. Our complex surgery uses the most advanced technology, including hybrid suites and robotic surgery. Services include but are not limited to: General Surgery, Urology, Transplant, Cardiac, Vascular, Thoracic, OHNS, OMFS, Plastics, Ophthalmology, Orthopedics, and Neurosurgery. Required Qualifications One year experience as a Surgical Technologist Active American Heart Association CPR Certification Demonstrated competency in more than one surgical specialty Graduate of Surgical Technologist Training program or equivalent experience High School Diploma; or equivalent experience The flexibility to orient and work at all UCSF Health locations Preferred Qualifications Neurosurgery cases, including Neurovascular (Open and Intraop angiography), Functional, Peripheral nerve, Spine, and Neurooncological specialties Certification as a Surgical Technician License/Certification Active American Heart Association CPR Certification About UCSF At UCSF Health, our mission of innovative patient care, advanced technology and pioneering research is redefining what's possible for the patients we serve - a promise we share with the professionals who make up our team.
