The Department of Dermatology is seeking a full-time fellowship-trained Mohs Micrographic Surgeon with strong clinical skills, an interest in treating high-risk skin cancer patients in a multidisciplinary setting, and a sincere interest in teaching to join our full-time faculty at the Assistant Professor level. This is a unique academic position that provides protected time for efforts in resident, fellow, and medical student education and scholarly activities, including opportunities for participation in research, participation in the Department's Micrographic Surgery and Dermatologic Oncology Fellowship Program, as well as participation in regular monthly conferences including journal clubs, reconstruction conferences, and CPC/tumor board. Clinical duties include participation in the Department's faculty practice plan and supervision of the Department's resident/fellow surgery clinics and transplant dermatology clinic.Qualified candidates should possess an MD degree with 2-4 years of relevant experience in Dermatology. The Department's outpatient facilities include offices at the main campus and satellite facilities that provide a private practice setting. All our clinical sites possess the opportunity for collegial management of patients, research collaboration, and mentorship of junior faculty and trainees.
