Job Title: Engineer, Industrial II
Reports To: Lean Manager
Location: Carrollton Building Wire Plant
Job Summary/Objective:

The Industrial Engineer will provide expertise to optimize production processes, enhance efficiency, and streamline operations. The role will utilize traditional Industrial Engineering skills to analyze systems, implement Lean methodologies, and drive continuous improvement. Primary focus centers around driving enterprise standards to promote financial success and customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain equipment capability records using standardized company documents. Data to include machine specs, processing factors, limiting factors, etc.
Maintain labor process records using standardized company documents. Data to include time studies, method standards, SOPs, process documents, etc.
Collaborate with Operations Engineering to develop and/or audit process documentation for machine capabilities and enterprise data standards.
Assess process performance utilizing traditional Industrial Engineering skills and enterprise solutions to identify trends, performance gaps, and areas of opportunity. Recommend options to improve Value Stream effectiveness.
Assist with project support through Kaizen events, Value Stream Mapping, A3 Problem Solving, etc. Facilitate change management and documentation of process improvements.
Provide cost and data analysis for capital investments, cost benefit justification, new product introduction, product changes, capacity analysis, etc.
Collaborate with functional teams responsible for system changes and enhancements. Act as site SME and change coordinator for implementation, data pulls, analysis, communication, etc.
Gain proficiency with enterprise applications to execute primary job duties. Systems include but are not limited to: SAP, CableBuilder, Advaris and JIRA.

Required

Minimum Education Level: Bachelor's
