Are you a 3rd or 4th year student interested in pursuing a career in Human Resources? StandardAero is looking for a personable, dynamic summer student to support a variety of tasks and projects. The incumbent will act in a highly confidential manner as it pertains to sensitive employee and applicant information As an intern at StandardAero, you will gain hands-on industry experience, learn from experts, and collaborate with our teams that raise the standard of excellence. Over the course of your 10-12 week internship, you will have the opportunity to: Become familiar with different HR roles and responsibilities, understand the business and the ability to influence from a Human Resources standpoint, attend weekly department meetings, drive organizational process improvements and initiatives, assist with recruitment, research best practices, assist with improving employee experience. Job Duties: Students may be involved in one or many of the following: - Support Diversity, Equity, Inclusion (DEI) initiatives by conducting research, assisting with data analysis and partnering with local groups. - Provide support to the HR Business Partners: - Provide input and recommendations for changes to current HR procedures and practices. - Assist in the development, review and update of organizational policies and processes. - Support site initiatives aimed at improving the employee experience - develop job postings; - conduct preliminary screenings; - manage the Applicant Tracking System; - schedule interviews; - develop offer letters; - facilitate background screening; - facilitate onboarding process. Basic Qualifications (Required Skill/Experience): - Third or fourth-year student enrolled in Human Resources undergraduate degree; - Excellent written and oral communication skills; - Excellent organizational and planning skills with strong attention to detail; - Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and e-mail; - Must maintain the strictest confidence in dealing with highly sensitive employee and applicant information; Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): - A strong desire to effectively learn and be a contributing member of a team. - Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work well with diverse personalities and work force. - Strong self-starter and time management skills. - Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a high pace environment. - Ability to share knowledge and work in a team- oriented environment What makes a good fit for StandardAero?
