WHAT TO EXPECT:
At Gates, we welcome challenges, celebrate hard work, and continually seek new talent to join our global company. We are seeking a recruiter in our Brandon, SD facility. You will work on a team of plant recruiters supporting all US plant and distribution center hiring. Your focus will be on professional roles but will be expected to support production roles as needed. You will be responsible for recruiting related activities across all plant locations and may travel to provide on-site assistance as needed.
You will partner with plant leadership, HR managers and hiring managers to establish full cycle recruiting plans and develop candidate pipelines for current and future needs. You will be a member of the US and Global Recruiting team and execute Gates' recruiting strategy through the sourcing, screening, and interviewing of candidates for a variety of roles. You will also drive Gates' process and meet the Global Recruiting Service Level Agreements (SLA) (ie: Time to Fill).
You would also be responsible for campus recruiting and branding, vocational/technical school marketing, regional job fairs, Veteran and Affirmative Action outreach and supporting recruiting team projects as needed. Plant and distribution center locations could include: Brandon, SD; Salem, NH; Columbia, MO; Elizabethtown, KY; Galesburg, IL; Greenville, SC; Hebron, KY; Iola, KS; Lithonia, GA; Versailles, MO; Poplar Bluff, MO; Red Bay, AL; Siloam Springs, AR
ABOUT YOU:
  • Undergraduate degree
  • At least 2 years of recruiting related experience preferred; specifically in a manufacturing plant and/or high-volume recruiting
  • Recruiting Agency experience, a plus
  • Manufacturing and/or Corporate experience, a plus
  • Strong ability and desire to drive and deliver results
  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated technical ability with systems, excel and other related software
  • Ability to simplify and communicate complex data
  • Positive attitude and strong desire to learn
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
  • Ability to build strong relationships with internal clients and in the external marketplace
  • Understanding and demonstrated expertise of recruiting principles and best practices
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis without sponsorship
