The Data Asset Assistant Manager will serve as the Commercial team's single source of data input, ensuring seamless, accurate, and timely management of commercial, category, and sales planning information across a range of both internal and external platforms. Working within a fast-paced environment, this individual contributor role is critical in ensuring data integrity and operational efficiency for various business units. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing master data, product information, and digital assets across platforms such as 1WorldSync, NIQ Label Insight, Syndigo, Data Council, SMSB Planogram image management, NIQ, Circana, and SAP.

Responsibilities

* Primary Data Input and Maintenance
* Serve as the single point of entry and truth for all data assets related to commercial, category, and sales planning activities.
* Input, validate, and maintain data across external platforms such as 1WorldSync, NIQ Label Insight, Syndigo, Data Council, and internal systems including SAP and SMSB Planogram image management.
* Ensure rapid and accurate data entry, updates, and maintenance to meet business needs and compliance standards.
* Monitor and validate all incoming and outgoing data for completeness, consistency, and accuracy across platforms.
* Resolve discrepancies, correct errors, and escalate issues as necessary to ensure the highest data quality.
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define and document data standards, processes, and policies.
* Act as the liaison between commercial, sales, category, and IT teams to ensure unified data streams and processes.
* Manage and synchronize product and content updates across 1WorldSync, NIQ Label Insight, Syndigo, Data Council, and other databases as required.
* Coordinate the timely publication of product and planogram images via SMSB Planogram image management and other visual asset platforms.
* Reporting and Analytics
* Generate routine and ad hoc data reports to support commercial, sales, and category planning.
* Support data analysis needs by providing accurate, up-to-date data sets to relevant business partners.
* Participate in data audit processes and help ensure compliance with company and industry standards.
* Identify opportunities to automate, streamline, and improve data entry and management processes.
* Participate in cross-functional projects to enhance the overall quality and accessibility of business-critical data assets.
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of platform capabilities and industry best practices.

Requirements

* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Data Management, Information Systems, or a related field preferred.
* Minimum of 2-4 years of experience working with data asset management, preferably within the CPG or retail sector.
* Demonstrated expertise in data entry and management across platforms
* Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with data visualization/reporting tools is highly desirable.
* Exceptional attention to detail and high standards for accuracy in all data handling and processing.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks at once and prioritize effectively in a deadline-driven environment.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across functional teams.
* Proven problem-solving abilities, particularly in identifying and resolving data inconsistencies or process bottlenecks.
* Working knowledge of data governance principles and regulatory compliance requirements beneficial.
* Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and take ownership of data management responsibilities.

Compensation Range:$81,000.00-$121,000.00, plus bonus.
