Job Summary:

The Quality Program Manager oversees organization of all quality activities for the assigned lines of business and assists with completing required plan documentation.

Essential Functions:

  • Ensure program milestone deliverables are completed and approved at every stage of project lifecycle
  • Assist with the continuous improvement of program / project management best practices, processes, and tools
  • Responsible for ensuring program closure activities are completed
  • Support stakeholders in the refinement of the program descriptions, program evaluations, and other program documentation appropriate governance documents
  • Collaborate with business owners and sponsor on the identification and assignment of business resources
  • Collaborate with IT point of contact on the identification and assignment of IT resources
  • Assess, manage, and control program scope, schedule, and budget change impacts
  • Work closely with business owners to ensure assigned programs aligns with business strategy and are properly funded, resourced, and managed
  • Maintain program stakeholder matrix
  • Drive cross-functional communication between impacted business and IT areas
  • Facilitate and drive Program Stakeholder meetings
  • Represent program in governance meetings
  • Review and approve program meeting minutes
  • Provide regular reporting and maintain ongoing communications to senior management, stakeholders and executive sponsors
  • Track, compile and report program metrics
  • Identify, log, and manage risk, implement mitigation strategies, contingency plans, and communicate/escalate to stakeholders
  • Identify, log, assign and resolve or escalate program issues, hindrances, and blockers using company best practices
  • Responsible for quality or program SharePoint site and program document repository
  • Produce detailed reports, business decision documents, meeting minutes, and notification on assigned program
  • Perform any other job duties as requested

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Project Management, Business, Clinical, Public Health or related field or equivalent years of relevant work experience is required
  • Minimum of three (3) years of relevant work experience in project or program management required
  • Experience using the model for improvement (PDSA-Plan, Do, Study, Act) is preferred
  • Previous healthcare, managed care or quality improvement experience is preferred

Competencies, Knowledge and Skills:

  • Excellent proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including Project, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio, Teams, Outlook, etc.
  • Experience working in project management software is required
  • Demonstrates excellent analysis and reporting skills
  • Excellent decision making/problem solving skills
  • Exceptional interpersonal and relationship building skills
  • Excellent critical listening and thinking skills
  • Proven ability to effectively interact with all levels of the organization of management within and externally to the organization
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Customer service oriented
  • Ability to shape the approach to needed results and gain consensus of the approach
  • General knowledge of a variety of quality improvement methodologies - Model for Improvement, Lean, Six Sigma
  • Knowledge of establishing and documenting PDSA cycles and key driver diagrams

Licensure and Certification:

  • Six Sigma or project management certifications are preferred

Working Conditions:

  • General office environment; may be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time

Compensation Range:
$81,400.00 - $130,200.00 CareSource takes into consideration a combination of a candidate's education, training, and experience as well as the position's scope and complexity, the discretion and latitude required for the role, and other external and internal data when establishing a salary level. In addition to base compensation, you may qualify for a bonus tied to company and individual performance.
